I’m a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) based in Warrington, and I’ve been teaching learners to drive since 2022. I’ve helped learners across Warrington develop the skills and confidence they need to pass their driving test and, more importantly, become safe and responsible drivers for life.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked as a teacher, so teaching has been an important part of my professional background for many years. I also have experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This background helps me understand that everyone learns differently and allows me to adapt my teaching style to the individual rather than expecting every pupil to learn in the same way.

For parents, this provides additional reassurance that their son or daughter is learning with someone who has genuine teaching experience and understands how to communicate patiently, clearly and effectively.

I also bring over 35 years of driving experience to every lesson, combining real-world driving knowledge with professional ADI training and the official DVSA syllabus.

My teaching style is calm, patient and structured, with every lesson built around you.

Whether you’ve never sat behind the wheel before, feel nervous or anxious about driving, or you’re returning to lessons after a break, I’ll adapt the pace and teaching approach to suit the way you learn best.

I particularly welcome and have experience teaching nervous learners and pupils with ADHD, Autism, Neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs (SEN). My background in education helps me break driving skills down into manageable steps, explain things in different ways when necessary, and create a supportive learning environment without unnecessary pressure.

Every lesson follows the official DVSA syllabus, so the aim isn’t simply to help you become test-ready — it’s to help you become a safe, confident and independent driver for life.

Lessons are provided in a Ford Fiesta (Manual), offering learners a comfortable and practical car in which to develop their driving skills and confidence.

I provide driving lessons across Warrington, including Stockton Heath, Grappenhall, Appleton, Great Sankey, Penketh, Latchford, Orford, Birchwood, Fearnhead, Culcheth, Lymm, Padgate and Westbrook.

For additional peace of mind, I’m also DBS checked and a proud member of the Warrington Professional Driving Instructor Association.
